What do you consider to be one of the hardest challenges in an RE game? whether it be a trophy/achievement or a tricky boss battle.
For me, it is definitely the Hard mode trophy from RE0. One of the only instances I've had to restart the game. The only other RE title to do that is, Code Veronica X. Having next to no ammo or health at the end is definitely not good. Haha.
Honorable mention goes to RE3's Hard Mode. Like the Hard mode trophy from RE0, I can rinse through it now, but back when they first came out it was definitely a challenge.
Let me know what you guys feel is one of the most difficult things in RE.

In my personal opinion, it's this guy. ON HARD MODE, FIRST PLAYTHROUGH. *shudders*

Chris (and Jill as well) on the REAL Hard mode on RE1 remake was quite the challenge for me. The main impact comes from just how fewer items you receive than on say, Mountain Climber difficulty. Not to mention how the characters are even more susceptible to damage from enemies *shudders*. Definitely a trying but fun experience that puts many modern games to shame in terms of difficulty.
Also Hard on RE3 was very taxing on the nerves as well.

I'll be honest in saying that I've never actually beaten Resident Evil 0 Is it because I'm lazy? Is it too hard for me, too limited of items? IDK, but I need to beat it so I'm choosing it as my hardest moment.

I view not playing Zero as more of a testament to wanting to retain your sanity rather than being lazy lol. I didn't put beating Zero as my hardest moment but it isn't far off from being there. Easily top 5. I know a lot of people overlook Zero because of the so called "innovative" item system they implemented. In reality, it was really more of a pain in the arse honestly. I like and admire Zero for many things but I'm not in a hurry to play it again anytime soon lol

For me it was Revelations i guess it was called Infernal Mode. I wanted all the Achievements, and this was the last one missing ^^ Some Parts were pretty easy, but the Boss at the End took me a while I got really frustrated, i was close to quit but i kicked his ass

Hardest moment for me, though I was 12 at the time was the puzzle in the mansion from Code Veronica X after the movie plays with the twins. It took me over 4 hours hahaha

Code Veronica in general was the hardest moment for me. Very difficult game, and no other RE game has made me pee my pants quite like when the Bandersnatch jumped through the window at you. After that it was dealing with the final boss of RE0 on hard with only 7 shotgun shells and 40 odd pistol rounds.

I think it's still Tyrant from RE1 on the Heliport If he tags you the recovery is ridiculous and he can easily dash and serve you another while your reeling and if you're in his face for too long expect him to start chaining you until your health's low enough to finish you off before you even know what happened.
And because it can turn so bad on a dime it's hard to keep your composure. Also attacking him is pointless so it's like a hair raising game of cat and mouse while you run down the clock.

Aw man that first time the bandersnatch comes through and steve saves the day is an awesome scene but yes anytime one of those bastards come through a window I was fucking terrified! I was 13 when I first played CVX!

All of CVX. Couldn't beat it my first time without Matt's help, and I only beat it on my own for the first time a couple years ago.

I was 13 when I first played CVX! I was probably around the same age as you, but for regular Code Veronica on Dreamcast! Despite the scare, the Bandersnatch remains my favorite enemy in the series. Such an amazing design for an enemy. They're gooey, but have structure; their faces are melty, but are clearly human. And those arms that like to reach out for a hug. It's almost like they're suffering from radiation poisoning, they could fit as easily in Fallout as they do in Code Veronica.
